Brian Stahr is a lifelong Nebraskan. Currently, he is a full time-time farmer, with a background in mechanical engineering and project management. Prior to switching to farming full time in 2024, Brian was employed at Cyclonaire in York for 19 years.  In his spare time he enjoys woodworking, car restoration, and spending time with his family. Stahr said that getting into farming motivated him to run for the NRD board, as “the NRD is a great way to serve by helping to protect our natural resources…Nebraska is lucky to have such a great NRD program. The NRD staff and board of directors really work hard to find the right balance between regulation and utilization of our natural resources.”
