Employee Spotlight: Wade and Abigail
Wade Backstrom joined the UBBNRD in October 2018. He is from David City and attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln where he received a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Wildlife. Wade is a Water Resources Technician whose duties include flowmeter/well inspections, electronic flowmeter battery replacements and water quality sampling. He enjoys hunting, fishing and golf while not at the office.
Abigail Peterson joined the UBBNRD in April 2019. She is originally from Grand Island and attended Grand Island Northwest High School. She came to the District from Burwell where she was an insurance agent. Abigail is a District Secretary whose duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. She enjoys baking, reading, and going to the park and splash pad with her daughter.
