NRD Office to Reopen to the Public
The office of the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District will resume normal operations in June, with the public able to enter the office without the need to call ahead for an appointment beginning June 8. Committee and board meetings will resume in-person in June as well.
The NRD office temporarily changed operations to fight the spread of COVID-19. During this time, staff continued to serve the public, but limited face-to-face interaction at the building and in the field. Moving forward, members of the public will have open access to the building but are still welcomed to call ahead to make arrangements with staff and to use the dropbox outside the building rather than enter the building if they prefer. When entering the building, everyone is encouraged to practice social distancing and appropriate hand hygiene to continue to fight the spread.
Restrictions at the five NRD managed recreation areas have eased as well.
